Berta Fischer (b. 1973) presents her work for the first time in Scandinavia. Fischer's remarkably light sculptures are abstract and reductive in a poetic sense of the word.
Her work appears to be the sum of material and form. Fischer uses synthetic materials like PVC and acrylic glass. Still her compositions seem natural in their own unconventional way.

One gets the impression of a straightforward presence when looking at Fischer's sculptures. Her work has a transparent character. The colours she uses are fluorescent yellow, blue, red, green, orange and seem to lighten up the space simply by their own means.
